Committee Mission and Purposes
Accept contributions and make political expenditures under Title 15 Texas Election Code.
Stimulate, encourage, and assist emergency physicians and others interested in the future of emergency medicine to organize and
participate actively and effectively in state political and governmental affairs, and to support candidates for state office that believe
in the principles to which emergency medicine is dedicated.
Educate emergency physicians and others regarding the nature and functions of the state political and governmental systems, the
important political issues affecting the practice of emergency medicine, and the political philosophies, performance and records of
public officials and candidates for public office in state government.
