Hard Hats for Little Heads: Only 100 Free Helmets Remaining

Contribute to your community before supplies run out.

Hard Hats for Little Heads was established by the Texas Medical Association (TMA) in 1994 to encourage use of helmets to protect children during activities such as biking, skating, and riding scooters. TCEP has purchased helmets so that we can provide them at no cost to our members. TMA offers a matching program that could provide up to 50 additional helmets. TCEP members are encouraged to distribute helmets to youth through local events. By hosting a helmet giveaway in your community, you’ll be fitting helmets, providing helmet safety information to children and parents, and saving lives.

Planning your helmet giveaway is easy when using the TMA event-planning tips which include helmet safety tips and sizing guides. Educational materials are available in English and Spanish. Be sure to request your free helmets at least 2 months prior to your event date by contacting Carol Carlton at [email protected].
